I've finally got a day or half at home to nua. Took this time to sort out photos and blog it out! Cleared some of my blog links and deleted links that have locked their blog or shifted but I cant find the latest link.

I'm currently a non official poly graduate. I've complete my final semester in NYP without any exams! Have been enjoying life with friends and boyfriend as much because I dont really have much thing to worry on.

I love CNY every year because it a get together session with everyone. We would go to different Groupie members house every year for visiting and of course, not forgetting to gamble. We went to quite a number to people house for visiting but we only took photos at Colin's place.

Girlfriends. Years down the road, I still hope we stay this way.

During the last day of attachment, I finally met up with FYP mates after so long. We head down to Timbre once again but we didnt had to queue this time round because Sarah booked a place long ago. Talked rubbish, listen to music from the live band and drank. Meet up soon!

At times I really don't know whether to love or hate CNY. It's another 3 more days time and it would be 大年初一. I've only gotten myself 1 top, jeans and shoe each. My mother has been nagging everyday to ask me to get more clothing for CNY.

I'll be meeting my girlfriends later. But before that I'll be going to This Fashion with weeee. Hopefully I'll be able to get something nice.

I'm feeling so sad now because the top that I order online went out of stock and the backorder would be only available during early March. There goes my new year top, which means I would need to shop for more CNY clothes. I dont understand why when we want to get clothing there isnt anyone that will catch your eye. I shopped the whole Bugis street today and I only bought a top.

On the other hand, meeting up with my ladies was great. We were really talking about everything while shopping and people might be hating us for blocking their way. Haha. They did tried their very best to get my CNY clothings but I think I'm really too choosy at times. Meet up soon ladies!

At the start of every week, I would rant about how long the working week is going to be and how I wish time would pass faster so that I would be able to see weekend soon. But looking at it at a bigger view, January 2010 has just passed and we are now currently in February 2010 already. Thinking back I still have the feeling that all of us has just celebrated the arrival of year 2010!

I'm currently doing my week 10 of attachment and its going to end in another 2 more weeks time. I'm glad that I've sort out my thoughts and decided to send in my application to NTU to try to get a place in NTU. Although I've already got a place in other university but still no harm spending $10 to try.

I dont know what to type anymore although I thought of quite alot of stuffs to blog before I start this entry. Off to watch drama!

The Frogs

A farmer came into town and asked the owner of a restaurant if he could use a million frog legs. The restaurant owner was shocked and asked the man where he could get so many frog legs! The farmer replied, 'There is a pond near my house that is full of frogs - millions of them. They all croak all night long and they are about to make me crazy!' So the restaurant owner and the farmer made an agreement that the farmer would deliver frogs to the restaurant, five hundred at a time for the next several weeks.

The first week, the farmer returned to the restaurant looking rather sheepish, with two scrawny little frogs. The restaurant owner said, 'Well... where are all the frogs?' The farmer said, 'I was mistaken. There were only these two frogs in the pond. But they sure were making a lot of noise!'

I'm always so lazy to blog whenever I get home from work. But today I must blog to wish someone Happy Birthday just in case he drop by my blog.

I really hope you'll read this post. You know you are deeply missed by all of us. Especially when 郑老师 showed NYPCO past concerts yesterday during combine practice. I miss those days when I use to rely on you during all practices and performance. Now I've learn to be stronger, I still miss you at times. Hope you are really doing well at the other side of the world. Drop by my dream some day alright?

2009 Flashback

2009 has been overall a great year for me. There are lots of gain and loss throughout this whole year, some of it are good while some are bad.

I manage to see the ugly side of people when I'm not even out at the working society yet. People might be friends with you for the moment but the very next moment they might have just forgotten you because of another person who are more important to him/her. Forgetting all those good times that we had shared together and only remember those bad ones.

Personally I do hear about people saying stuffs about me through word of mouth and also via internet. I don't really bother much about what people say about me as times goes by. Of course when I get the information I would get angry over it, as times goes by more and more gossips comes to me saying that I'm the bad person in the story. People always complain that other only hear stories from my side and not from the other side. But who are the people that are really not taking sides?

Through all these things that happen I did loss some of the people around me but I do gain a lot of friends whom I never thought I'll be so close with. I hope all of us will still keep in contact when we move on to university or army life.

Another year has passed and I am still rather active in the different orchestras. Although at times I really feel like giving up everything because I'm really tired of it. Having so little time for myself to rest, to get things done, to go out with my friends and spend with my family members. I do admit I hate to go to practices at times because I find it a total waste of my time. But every time when the concert is over and I hear the applause coming from the audience, I know all these are worth my time. I don't know how long this passion will stay but as long as I still have the feel for it, I would go for it.

I know I'm a straightforward, rude and rush person at all times. Nevertheless I'm grateful that my friends/ladies has been always beside me whenever I needed them. To my friends, thank you for accompanying me whenever I needed you people to. You people never let me felt like I'm all alone in this world having no one to accompany me to get my stuffs done.

To my ladies, though we ain't totally the same as the past as all of us grew up differently with the different environment. Meet up really make me feel so much better and away from all the stress that has been coming to me from all directions.

Thank you so much for being there whenever I want to rant about stupid stuffs.

Year 2010 Resolution

It's the last day of year 2009. Looking back at my resolution set last year I didn't manage to achieve all of my target set.

I'm not any slimmer than year 2008. But I'm fatter than before.

I've tried my best to study what I can in order to achieve better grades. At least in a 3.XX GPA now.

Saving up money, I did save up money throughout this whole year. But all my savings has been spent on my life long driving licence. Which I think it's totally worth it! (:

Year 2010 Resolution:
• Go slimmer!! My ideal weight is 53kg!!
• Get a Diploma Cert.
• Get into a university and get a Degree.

Though every year when I set New Year resolution I'm afraid that I'm not able to do it. Nevertheless, I hope this shall motivate me throughout year 2010.

Life has been revolving around working ever since attachment has started. Going to work at 9am and knocking off at 6pm is what I do every day. Facing the desktop that does not have any internet access doing my work with Flash and try to complete it asap. The only thing I look forward to everyday at work is meeting up with people I love after I end work.

Thank god Kwen is currently on holiday and most of the time after work I would be able to meet him for movies session or dinner. It's near to year end and there are lots of movies up on the cinema screens. These are some of the movies that I've watched recently.

The show is rather a disappointing one! I went to book tickets to give Kwen a surprise but the outcome of the movie was totally disappointing! 2.5/5 popcorns!

Sometimes I really do have the urge to really slim down! Not to the extend of those sexy models body but slim down to the weight that I used to have during secondary school. But how long doesnt the urge stays in me? Where do I get all the determination?

When friends tell me to really slim down because I really do look better when I'm slimmer I always tell them I'm okie with my current weight and stuffs. At that point of time I really dont know why I didnt mind myself being fat. At times when I have to head out and I open my closet and try to search for clothes to get out of the house, I start to really mind myself for being really FAT.

Friends always go shopping and get clothing easily but for me, there are alot of things for me to consider when I get myself a top/bottom. Personally I really aint that brave to put on revealing clothing like other fat people do! They sure indeed has lots of courage to do that! That sentence isnt insulting them at all, that's a compliment for them.

My best friend just lost 2 kg and I think she really did a good job! I believe that she can really make it to her ideal body weight. I suddenly have the determination to slim down because that's my 2009 resolution! Year 2009 is coming to an end and I really want to make that resolution come true!

Pray hard that my determination will bring me through my slimming process this time round!

The moment that everyone has been awaiting for has finally come, the birth of Jovi Neo to this world on last Saturday 21 Nov 2009.

I'm not sure about others but personally I was really very excited to see little Jovi when Kwen told me that Jieying was in labor. But by the time he came out it was already night time and it has passed the visiting hours so all of us have to make do with it and head down the next day to visit Mummy Jieying and Baby Jovi.

When we got up to Jieying's ward Jieying's friend offer to let me carry Jovi and I really did carried him in my arms. He's like the most fragile thing in the world, any movement of mine will make him move just that little. When he rest in your arms sleeping, he's just the cutest little thing everyone can ever have! (:

I feel so happy that I didnt have to do the SIEW event for yesterday and today because I'm able to go for road trip together with my FYP mates and also enjoy slacking in the lab while doing a little touch up for the project. FYP is gonna end in another 1 week time and I'm gonna miss all the fun that I have in this lab together with my FYP mates.

Attachment gonna start on 30 December 2009 and I still yet to know which company I'm being post to. I hope it would be a company that is near my place and the company doesnt sucks!

Went to Timbre a few weeks back together with my FYP mates. A whole new bunch of people heading out to Timbre together! I thought the outing was going to be cancelled in the end but we still make it there with almost everyone. Made a new friend(Kee Lin's friend) and we sure did had lots of fun!

An email I read and I think it's worth to share to everyone. Moral of the story for everyone to remember and take note including myself.

One old man was sitting with his 25 years old son in the train. Train is about to leave the station. All the passengers are settling down into their seats. As the train started the young man was filled with alot of joy and curiosity. He was sitting on the window side. He went out one hand and feeling the passing air. He shouted, "Papa see all the trees are going behind". Old man smile and admired his son's feelings. Beside the young man one couple was sitting and listening all the conversation between father and son. They were little awkward with the attitude of the 25 years old man behaving like a small child.

Suddenly the young man again shouted, "Papa see the pond and animals. Clouds are moving with the train". Couple was watching the young man in embarrassingly. Now its start raining and some of water drops touches the young man's hand. He is filled with joy and he closed his eyes. He shouted again," Papa it's raining, water is touching me, see papa".

Couple couldn't help themselves and ask the old man. Why don't you visit the Doctor and get your son treated. Old man said," *Yes, We were from the hospital. Today my son got his eyes for the first time in his life".

Moral of the story is :
"We must not come to any conclusion until we know all the facts"

This week hasnt been a good one for me. Times when I feel like crying, there is just no one beside me to comfort me. I've been trying very hard to get things done. But everyday from 830am-6pm I feel like I'm wasting my time off in the lab doing so little things.

Week 5 of FYP = FUN

I'm totally too lazy to blog during weekends although I've already uploaded photos to the blogger page and things I need to add on is only the texts. I'm still lazy to do so. Sarah is off to the gym to do some workout and I'm sitting alone in our cozy corner and I decided to complete my blog entry. Haha.

Last week has rather been a slacking week for the whole lab. Our whole lab shifted house to the next door because they compared and said that the next door lab is much bigger and we would be more comfortable in the bigger lab. It's rather hard for Sarah and I to move lab because both of us have way too much things to move over nevertheless we still got help from our lab mates.

We have to wait for the new lab to be ready for us to move in between we went out to Plaza Singapura to do some shopping and also to Sim Lim Tower to collect some stuffs. All thanks to Kee Lin who drove his picnic out because there are way too much people to squeeze in Kian Seng's car.

I met up with Yue Ling and Shao Long over at Timbre later in the night. It was the 1st time the both of them head to Timbre. It was suppose to be a section outing but a lot of people cannot make it due to different reasons so the 3 of us end up going together to bid farewell for Shao Long before he head to army. The music was super nice over there that night and the 3 of us had pizza, buffalo wings and Heineken beer for dinner.

She sent a message to me asking me to wake up because September is already over. It's a inside joke of "Wake me up when September ends" in secondary school. She really makes me miss all those old times in secondary school where we had lots of fun.

I did something rather unique this year, I head down to Tekong on my birthday for Kaiyi's POP(Pass Out Parade) together 郑mama. It's my first time heading down to this kind of parade! The very first time of me going to Tekong is when Kaiyi book in as a Recruit this June. 3 months pass so fast, he's now already out of Tekong.

I went to meet up with my dearest girlfriends later in the night to have dinner at Drusilla's attachment place (Raffles Hotel) as we would enjoy her 50% staff price. My girlfriends even bought me a red daisy flower as my present. It's still standing alive on my desk right beside me now.

We shared about attachment life, gossip about everything and talked rubbish over dinner. All of us seem to be doing well with our current life right now. Hang in there my dear girlfriends, attachment/work/no money moment is going to end in no time. I love you girls!

I know I promise to blog yesterday night when I get home it's already 10plus and Kwen came over to fetch me for dinner at Jalan Kayu. Its super tiring when I get home so I decided to sleep early yesterday and blog today!

The official start day for FYP was on Monday which means I've survived 4 days through FYP. Having to go to school sit inside the lab and stare at the monitor screen from 830am to 6pm is super tiring. Although in between we do go for break but it's hurts my eyes staring at the screen for the whole day.

We are supposed to do the project on weekly basic. So every week we are given task to do and we must complete it within that week and write a report at the end of the week. The objective this week is to design the layout for the website and make sure it can work in ASP.NET.

Due to some reason my project mate (Sarah) and I have been redoing the layout for numerous times and its due tomorrow morning and we are still not done with it. This is because the layout and color is not 顺眼 the lecturer and she keep on asked us to change again and again. -.-

Shall blog something different other than complaining on my FYP. Yea, it's breakfast with Groupie people on last Saturday. Everyone is supposed to meet at 930 but in the end I dont know what time met. Head down to Chinatown and decide to settle our breakfast at Maxwell Food Centre. But when we get there all our favourite stall isnt open and we end up eating other stalls. We shall visit Maxwell again for our favourite food stores!

Went to CO on Monday for self sectional practice as 老师was sick that day and was unable to come down for practice. After the practice the 5 of us (Yueling, Shaolong, C & K) was sitting inside the room chatting and suddenly have a crazy idea to go for night picnic over at Marina Barrage.

When we got there we quickly found a place and settle down. Started to bring out all the food and eat while we chat and play games. All of them agreed that it is better to have picnic at night although you cant see things very clearly but the weather is so more cooler and windy!

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme. html and try to download Tears 6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1 . Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources).

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

It was kite-flying day last Saturday, the very last time I went for kite-flying is donkey years ago!! It's totally fun because almost everyone of groupie turned up.

Although I didnt really move at first because I was playing with the dogs. Doggies are cute if they dont try to lick you. When I get bored playing with dogs I went over to join the rest in kite flying. I found out that it was totally not easy to make sure the kite maintain high there, at least when I fly the kite didnt fall down. It’s really a nice feeling when the kite you are flying maintain high up in the sky.

It was EVCO Annual Concert; Music in Harmony 情韵和鸣on Sunday. It's finally over after all the hard work everyone put in. I went back to school almost every day to practice those songs because I didnt really practice much before that. Luckily I didnt smoke/play like 老鼠屎(quote from 笨roommate)on the concert itself. Haha. The concert was a success though some of the audience cannot take long pieces that we perform.

I'm really happy that I dont have to take any major papers this semester if not it would fall around the same time as EVCO's concert and I would be there struggling very hard to study and also turn up for the practice. I can really feel the stress of all those taking their major papers and also performing for the concert at the same time. Good luck to all of you especially my PT daughter Hui Jia.

I didnt really have much things to do this week, stayed at home to relax and also watch shows from PPS and Mobtv. I did went out in between but I cant really remember where are the places that I went. Haha.

But I remember yesterday I went out dinner together with Ah Gen, Eunice and Hanhan over at Clarke Quay. When Ah Gen told me that we are going to have dinner at Mr Curry, Hanhan and my mind set was that we are going to have Indian food for dinner. But it turns out to be Japanese food. Haha. I finally managed to clear away all the things from the to-do list and its holiday now for me. But most of my friends are preparing for their exams and I've got no one to meet out, mahjong or sing K with me. I've spend my holiday so far going to learn driving and also going back to school to 练琴for this Sunday concert.

It feels really great not having to wake up via alarm clock, able to sleep till 自然醒every day. But it sucks totally when you got nothing to do at all but thank god so far I've been spending my time facing my laptop to watch shows on Mobtv and MTV.com.

Tadah, finally one more to-do down the list. I finally handed in Open Source's mini project to Benson today. Gonna finish ICTPM report by tonight and send it over to Roxanne so that she can add things she want to add and hand in to the lecturer on Friday.

I totally got no idea how to do the Web2.0 mini project. I think most people in the class got no idea how to do the add-to-cart thing too. Oh my, I dont think I can hand in any programs to the lecturer by this Friday. Any AJAX expert want to help me with this project?

Although last week was rather a busy week for me, it has been a real fun and worth it week.

I finally meet up with my girlfriends and we went for a Seoul Garden 50% off ladies night buffet. The food variety isnt that much but we did enjoyed ourselves chit-chatting while we eat. Camwored after we finish the meal, played around and even trained home together. I love going out with my girlfriends because we would end up taking train towards the same direction home. We can still have lots of fun on the train. We shall meet up soon together with Pearlyn.

Seoul Garden Buffet.

As mention in the previous post, I went picnic together with Ah Gen, Hanhan and Eunice on Saturday. We were suppose to meet at 12noon to head to Sentosa but everyone end up meeting at around 1plus 2 and by the time we got to Sentosa and settle ourselves its already going 3pm.

Tried to finish up the food that each of us prepared and played games that Ah Gen prepared. The game was fun but it would be better if more people came along to the picnic! Headed to play skyride and luge, I still can remember the scene that Ah Gen shouted when the skyride suddenly stop. Haha. It was a fun day out with them. (:

Yay, National Day 2009. I went down to SAM together with Huijia to take a look at the flea market. I've got myself a top and a vest while Huijia got herself a jumper and a top. The flea market is rather a small one and the weather is freaking hot. I cant imagine shopping there for long, shopping and sweating at the same time! Both of us only shop for about an hour plus and decided to walk down to City Hall to wait for Kwen and Kaiyi.

Trained down to AMK after Zhenyao ended his work, went to NTUC to get food for dinner and head down to Yongsoon's place. We wanted to have a potluck where we cooked the dishes ourselves and bring it down to Yongsoon's place but Kwen didnt drive on that day and it was rather hard to bring food onboard public transport. So that idea was being postponed. We'll have a self-cooked potluck soon.

4 more things to-do up on my list and I'm done for this semester! FYP briefing is on 7 September which means 1 only got less than a month of holiday before FYP/attachment start. Gonna enjoy myself as there would be no holiday in between.

I went picnic today together with Ah Gen, Hanhan and Eunice over at Sentosa. Due to a lot of obstacle that we faced, we only managed to reach Sentosa at 2plus 3. Ate the food we prepared, played some games and went off to play skyride and luge. The weather is freaking hot today but I think everyone did enjoy ourselves although we went back Vivo with super sticky bodies.

I left Vivo to meet Kwen over at PS to watch UP. I finally caught a movie fresh when it just started showing. This movie is a must watch and I cried in less than 15 mins of the movie. I love the story line of this movie!

And later, I'll be heading to the Flea Market over at SAM together with Kwen, Huijia and Kaiyi. Hope there would be things that I like and I can get over there. :D

Finally the worst part of the week is gone, one more to-do off my list! I'm left with MAD mini project and OSWSD mini project due this week. I rather do project as it is more relaxing than have to remember all those stupid coding for the common test paper. JED paper today was horrible, I totally dont know what code to write. I hope I wont fail this paper and repeat the module. I dont wan to repeat the module because I really dislike JED!

Wanted to get Bing Hong's help with MAD after JED paper end but I dont know what happen to my laptop, the whole netbean jus suddenly cant work. All thanks to Madeleine and Bing Hong for helping me install and uninstall netbeans on my laptop and a last installation on Keith's laptop which works! Big thank you to Keith who lend me his laptop for 1-2 days!

I've finally finish uploading photos of the Seoul Garden trip last night with girlfriends! Shall blog about it in my next post. Gonna go rush MAD project now.

Oh ho, some people complained that my blog only has things about CO and nothing else. So I'm going to try to blog about something different today(hopefully) Last week is suppose to be a chiong project week as quite a lot of project due date is this week. But due to the H1N1 e learning week, all the projects has been postpone 1 more week for submission. So this week and next week are going to be rather the chiong project week.

I went for a road trip with Rox, Ben and Jeremy on Friday. Though it's quite a weird combination when we starting know that we are heading out together but after we went out we found out that it isn’t that weird. Haha. I didn’t know guys can really gossip so much(other than kwen) we are like talking about all the things under the sun. It's a fun road trip with them to 3 different places; Henderson Waves, Seletar Airbase and Yishun Damp. And a big thank you to Ben for fetching us around and sending us home!

NYPCO Beautiful Sunday 2009 was a success.

The hall was totally packed, from what I heard from Roxanne it was full house till she can’t get into the hall to enjoy the concert(part of it is because she's late. Haha.) Luckily during this critical period of H1N1 Singaporeans still the kiasu attitude, free concert must sure watch.

The feedbacks from friends and family members were great. They commented that the songs were nice and they could really feel that the singers were singing the song. The “highest” song is the 情歌王 which last for about 12 minutes. I was like singing inside my heart while I was playing the song.

听海 and 情歌王 were my 2 favourite songs among all the pieces that we perform. For the audience who came down and watch, I hope 听海 didn’t spoil much of your ear drum. Haha. Though the songs came in really late and all the last minute additional practice sucks but all our hard work did pay off when all of us hear the applauses coming from the audience. The sense of satisfaction could not be described. I finally found the reason that we are performing on the stage, it’s the applauses from the audience all performers are looking for.

In less than 15 hours time, NYPCO is going to perform the 3rd time in the Esplanade Concert Hall for the Beautiful Sunday program. I hope the concert crowd would not be much affected by the H1N1 and there would be a huge crowd later on at the concert hall and not Singaporeans trying to avoid crowded places so that it would lower their chance of getting H1N1.

Songs of the concert only managed to came in full on Friday. I can really see everyone's effort in this concert especially the cello/bass section. Though I sent a few messages feeling very pissed off with some member's attitude but my intension was to get everyone to come down for sectional practices and make sure they are clear of the songs and perform well on stage! No hard feelings with those messages ok?

It’s the moment that we have been practice for so hard for. Let’s make this Beautiful Sunday concert a successful one. NYPCO Beautiful Sunday 2009 演出成功!

Heard from Ming Kai that they do not have to come school on Monday because they have to be quarantine at home. Andee who took the ICTMP common test together with them has got infected with H1N1. 2 down 2 to go.

DAM was finally done today. I didn’t sleep well last night because the papers were too tight together. I slept at 2am and woke up at 4am to go on studying. My ICTMP paper ended at 6pm yesterday and DAM paper was at 830am today. I went for sectional last night and that bring to even lesser time to study for the DAM paper. I burn midnight oil last night and did manage to get something into my brain. Some of the things I studies did came out and some that I read through came out too. My brain is totally block and that point of time and I wrote rubbish for a few questions. I hope the lecturer would not vomit blood to death.

Web 2.0 paper tomorrow at 11am and I’m going off to organize the notes and start studying. Wish me luck!

I’m going to make it a miss to meet up with girlfriends once again due to the common tests. Next week, we’ll meet next week for sure!

School reopen today and its common test week straight. First day of school reopen and things wasn’t right for me almost the whole day.

I head to school early in the morning to meet Rox and Zi Fu to study. We studied all the way till 4plus and head over to the examination hall. Upon reaching the examination hall we found out that we need to have our temperature taken over at the atrium, get the temperature taken sticker before we could enter the hall. Rox asked the lecturer whether taking our temperature in front of him using a thermometer would be ok and he shouted a very LOUD no towards us.

I really feel so stupid walking from one end to the school to the centre of the school just to get our temperature taken and get a sticker for it. Knowing that we are going to be late for the paper after taking our temperature at the atrium they still force us to walk all the way there. So what’s the use of a thermometer given by the school when you cannot even use it to take temperature? Why can’t lecturer just be more flexible?

I went into the hall feeling super hot after walking super fast and the moment I open the exam paper the questions are all staring at me and I don’t know the answers to most of the questions. I did study the tips given by the lecturer and he said 15% of the questions would not be from the tips. But from what I see, I think its 75% of the questions not from the tips instead of the 15% that he said.

I think I’m really going to flung this semester, I’ve got 4 papers this week and 1 of it is down. I’m left with 3 of it on tomorrow, Wednesday and Friday but there’s extra practices this whole week for the upcoming Beautiful Sunday performance this week! School should not have been postponed for 1 week! All this things would not clash together if school was as per normal!

Paper tomorrow at 830am doubt I’ll be sleeping tonight! Shyt!

The point where I said that "it just makes me wonder whether the path I chose is the right one for me?" makes me thinks that whether being active in NYPCO is the right choice for me. It makes me have lesser time with friends and family. Especially when concerts are coming and there are lots of extra practices to make sure the concert goes well, it does makes me feel sick thinking that every night there are CO practice. And the point that I don’t have many friends inside the orchestra now makes me feel even sicker.

I didn’t or rather never want to choose the path of not going out with my girlfriends anymore. I really wanted to head down the flea market when I receive Pearlyn's message last Saturday but there's additional practice. I want to go supper with you ladies tonight over at Fei Fei wonton noodles but I also have additional practice tonight. The Beautiful Sunday concert is less than 2 weeks from now. I cannot afford or cannot even miss any practice. I know you ladies might be kind of sick hearing that I can’t meet all of you because of my practices but I do not have any choice to choose.

There is a point of time when I really feel like ranting all these things out but I just can’t find anyone to hear me out. All of you are busy with your own stuffs and I really feel suffocated at that point of time.

Its 1249am now and I suddenly feel so lonely. It's NYPCO Beautiful Sunday on 12 July 2009 and it appears to be none of my girlfriends are coming down to support me. I understand that super boring Chinese Orchestra music might make them fall asleep but this time round we are playing pop music. I’m not pointing fingers or blaming anyone of you for not coming down but it just makes me wonder whether the path I chose is the right one for me?

PS: I miss my girlfriends. I hope all of them are doing fine!

School holiday is going to extend one more week due to H1N1 so I would have more time to study for my 4 stupid enough common test paper!

Last week is a super enjoyable week because it marks the start of my holiday. Although my weekends are spoilt working the PC Show 2009, the weekdays are much enjoyable ones. Monday and Tuesday was spent in school due to the Music Camp Festival. The rest of the week is filled with fun.

I went onboard the Singapore Flyer once again with Shao Long, Kenny and Yue Ling at only SDG10! It was suppose to be a cello/bass section outing but I didn’t know what happen, no one turn up in the end except for Shao Long and Yue Ling. Kenny wanted to tag along last minute and off we went to board the cabin.

The very last time I board the Flyers is during my birthday last year together with boyfriend in the night time. This time round I board it in the afternoon, it was a different experience because I was able to see things around the flyer much more clearly but the sun was super hot when it shine into the cabin.

Friday was a super crazy Japanese food day post birthday celebration for Ms Su. From the moment I went out for lunch with Kenny I was eating Japanese food till the end of the day together with the rest. It was Kai Yi's first book out and he tagged along. He went totally botak and he look like a super dark fishball. I hope Ms Su enjoyed the mini celebration for her!

PC Show 2009 finally came to an end. I think it's the first time I've been slacking so much in the show; walking around, chatting with friends, going for long toilet and meal breaks! The motivation for work isn’t there when working for weekend only especially when you know the top salesperson of 4 days get so many things extra like a mp3 player, GV movie vouchers and a mini fridge on top of the double basic pay and 1 250GB Maxtor hard disk! ):

I swear it's the worst ever IT Show I've ever worked. They isnt that much customer but there are so many promotors with a super big booth. Everyone's sales was like shyt and I totally do not have any motivation to work at all and I still have 1 more freaking day to go!

Well, I've known you for 7 years and the most time we spend together is during all the CO events and practices. If it's not you I would not have join NYPCO and go Sydney together with NYPCO and earn myself a boyfriend! Haha. 2 years of army life is going to pass super fast. By the time you come out Singapore would have the 4th University, maybe you would study there duh. Look at the bright side of army; it makes you save money after 2 years you are going to be rich! Think of the good things instead of the bad, life would be much better if you think it that way!

I've got the urge to blog since yesterday! But I was too busy uploading photos on to facebook and got too frustrated after N tries but still cant get all the photos up on facebook. Decided to go to bed after so.

It's my first every trip to Pula Tekong last Friday. I head there because Kai Yi has to kiss goodbye to his pink NRIC for 2 years and enjoy 2 full years of 11B. Pula Tekong is a very nice place with beautiful scene on the island itself other than having to take the super smelly ferry over. It's still acceptable duh. But I think the guys really hated the place and really want to get out of the place asap. The food there was nice but Kwen said that it's only on the 1st day that it's nice, the rest of the day the food is like shyt. I've taken a few farewell photos for Kai Yi, enjoy it below!

When we got back to Singapore, Kwen and I got home to rest awhile and headed down to the Asian Civilisations Museum around 5plus. I was so happy that the museum close at 9pm that day because we didnt have to rush down straight after we got back from Tekong and still able to enjoy all the different galleries that they have. It's a Night at the Museum Trip!

I didnt took much photos because they didnt allow photography inside the museum but the main point of us going there is to see The Kangxi Emperor gallery. It's a super nice one and it's worth seeing. Full time students would be able to enjoy half price!

Li Yi's farewell 21st chalet, I think the main purpose that everyone go there is to play mahjong. There are 2 mahjong sets over there and we even bought a mini mahjong set for her as her birthday present. We got her to open her present that we gave her and played with it immediately.

An email that I have read that I would like to share it on my blog with people who read it. (Maybe there isnt anyone who reads it)

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things---God, your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.

The sand is everything else---the small stuff. 'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

'Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. 'I'm glad you asked.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

Tadah, I’m here to update my wonderful week.

I went for the steamboat/buffet with Kwen at Suntec City. The food over there is super yummy when Kwen and I left the restaurant, we almost die of fullness. They have a lot of variety of food over there ranging from seafood to noyna food. They even cook the seafood you choose and send it over to your table after it's done. It's quite worth the money if you go and eat on weekdays. Eating on weekend would be a little expensive because the thing they serve on weekdays and weekends are the same.

Tofu turns 21st on 28 May 2009! We had a mini celebration for him at his class on the actual day. We planned all the way and chiong into his class and started singing birthday songs for him, gave him the cake and passed him his birthday present. Make sure you bring the ipod nano to good use!

I went for a less-than-1-day-getaway Malaysia trip with Kwen and Kai Yi. We only managed to reach Malaysia at 2 plus 3. Rush down to Holiday Plaza as Kwen wanted to get his PSP repaired, walked around and have lunch over at the Hong Kong Cafe they have over there. The food is so much cheaper than Singapore and it's so much yummier. I didnt went to do any medi/pedicure this time round but Kai Yi and I went for thai leg massage and it was super comfortable and cheap. I'm going for the full body massage next time round!
